Rachel and Jack Adventure Elopement in Bornholm

Rachel and Jack recently decided to choose one of our elopement wedding packages abroad: “Island Escape” , and say “I do” in the beautiful cliffs of Bornholm Island.

Bornholm Islan d is a Danish island in the Baltic Sea located near the southern coast of Sweden off of the eastern side of Denmark. This island is not only known for its abundance of nature and amazing scenery, but also for its many museums containing ancient medieval artifacts of the Nordic Region. Perhaps the most famous site in this island is the Hammershus Castle Ruins which was the largest medieval fortification in all of Scandinavia. This is quite a site and definitely one of the main attractions to see when visiting Bornholm Island.

Jack and Rachel’s wedding in Bornholm Island was not really a normal wedding like most others, but it was rather more of an adventure elopement.

They went on promenades together through the thick forests of the island and they climbed the rocks of the coast of the island next to the immaculate Baltic Sea, where they said their wedding vows to each other in romantic fashion.

Jack was sporting a kilt in homage to his native Scottish tradition, while Rachel wore a classic white wedding gown and a flower hairband.

Adventure Elopement in the Baltic Sea

Jack and Rachel are adventurous people who love to experience new things which is a large reason why they went with the decision to elope abroad in a place like Bornholm Island. This was the perfect destination for them to experience their wedding and say their vows to each other, because it also defines the kind of people that they are. They prefer to enjoy life to its complete fullest as much as they possibly can.

Bornholm Island provided the exact experience that they needed and more. There wasn’t a single moment where Jack and Rachel did not seem satisfied with their choice to get married there. After saying their vows to each other, Rachel and Jack paid a visit to a harbour in the Baltic Sea off of the coast of the island, where they took pictures and relaxed in a small fishing boat.

They concluded their day with a promenade along the coast, marking the end of a day which will stay in their hearts and minds for the rest of their lives. They clearly enjoyed themselves and had the experience of a lifetime.
